Achieve's 30th Anniversary Celebration!

It's almost time!
Many of us plan to stop by Pinch Penny Pub on Friday evening after work, so please join us if you make it to Carbondale by Friday evening.
As a group, we will be meeting at the 17th Street Warehouse (214 N. 17th Street) in Murphysboro, Illinois. We will begin the evening at approximately 5:30 pm with a "cash bar" followed by dinner, a photo slide show, laughs, memories, and a trivia contest. For dinner, you will have two choices: either Hawaiian Chicken Breast, or the Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin. We have to have our food order finalized by Monday , April 14th. Please let us know your dinner choice before then. Appetizers and dessert will also be served.
There is a group chatroom for our 30th Anniversary which you can join to connect with old friends who will be attending at Achievecelebration@yahoogroups.com if you are interested.
Some peole have asked what they should wear. Casual to more "dressed up" is acceptable. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy theevening. If you have any pictures of Achieve people or events that you think would be good for our pictorial history show, please email them to Roger at rpugh@siu.edu.
Along with our events Saturday evening, there are many other events occuring over the whole weekend. Saturday morning through afternoon will be the 25th Carbondale Cardboard Boat Regatta on campus lake. Also, the Doc Spackman Memorial Triathlon will be held that day.
April 25th-27th also marks the dates of the Southern Illinois Irish Festival, with live music at many venues over the course of the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon starting at 2:00 pm, the Southern Illinois Dance Company will perform at Furr Auditorium in Pulliam hall, room 42.
Saturday afternoon, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm will feature the Museum Program fo Children at the University Museum in Faner Hall.
