Muller (Ph.D., Biological Anthropology) This fall, Erica Muller begins her fourth year in the
pursuit of her PhD at SIUC. In the last
academic year, Erica has devoted time to gathering sources in
preparation for
her candidacy exams to be taken in the spring semester 2006. The topic of her dissertation focuses on
fluctuating asymmetry of the face and how such asymmetry factors into
aspects
of beauty and mate selection among humans. During
the current academic year, she is also taking classes in the
Department of Physiology in pursuit of the certificate in anatomy.
