Two graduates of the CASA Department of Health Care Professions, Leslie Treat, physical therapy assistant at Rehab Unlimited Anna, and Jake Weber, physical therapist at Herrin Hospital Acute Rehabilitation Center, were recently honored by the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Southern Illinois Healthcare as employees of excellence.

The Employee Excellence Award is presented annually to recognize those who have contributed substantially to the rehabilitation experience of each person he or she treats. Nominees are chosen by a group of peers for actions that go beyond the scope of the professional's immediate responsibility.
