The Computer-Assisted Instruction and Research Laboratory in the College of Liberal Arts (CAIRL-CoLA) at SIUC serves all of the departments in the college by providing computer lab space for undergraduate and graduate courses. One half of the CAIRL-CoLA houses Macintosh micro-computers where students are able to work on word processing assignments and research papers. The other half of the CAIRL facility houses 21 IBM compatible computers that provide faculty and students access to the on-line library card catalogue, the Internet, and mainframe computer-assisted instruction materials.

Questions about the Computer-Assisted Instruction and Resurch Lab should be directed to
Vincent Lacey, Ph. D., Director of CAIRL.
