This collaboration
between the SIUC Theater Department and the Black American
Studies Program marks an important project which acknowledges
and celebrates the significance of African American History
Month. Staring Bert Belasco, Basha Evans and Cara Harper the
show explores a man's search for himself and validating his
life through the significance of a having a definitive home.
Home shows a story of a man at a crossroad in his life with
themes revolving around how he is perceived as an African
American man within the culture of the 1970's. SIUC Theater
Graduate students are designing the technical aspects with
Anna Goller designing the set and Jennifer Peterson designing
costumes.
