Specializations: Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Diversity and Rehabilitation, Vocational Rehabilitation Dr. Stacie L. Robertson is an Instructor in the Rehabilitation Counselor Training Program at the Rehabilitation Institute, Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University (2003), and a M.S., in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Illinois (1995). Prior to joining the SIUC faculty, Dr. Robertson worked in the field of rehabilitation and counseling for over 10 years. She has worked in the areas of substance abuse, personal/emotional counseling, vocational rehabilitation, and independent living. During her doctoral work, Dr. Robertson was the recipient of college and national research grants. Her research interests include rehabilitation counselor training and development, diversity issues, and vocational rehabilitation. Dr. Robertson is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and is completing the requirements to become a licensed clinical psychologist. |
