Starr Thornton was awarded the Illinois Consortium for Educational Opportunity Program Fellowship (ICEOP) for the 2001-2002 academic year.  This fellowship provides tuition assistance as well as a stipend!  Congratulations Starr!

Special congratulations to Lori Roeder who has been selected as the 2002 recipient of the Theresa Clark Memorial Scholarship award and to Jenny Legge, 2002 recipient of the Naber Award. Dawn Dueker has been selected as the first time recipient of the Ashley Award. They will be recognized in April at the Guy A. Renzaglia Lecture and Rehabilitation Institute Award Ceremony as well as the College of Education and Human Services Honor's Day.

Evana Lemke, a CDS undergraduate, has been conducting honor's thesis research on the treatment of autism.  She participated in the first annual SIUC Undergraduate Research Forum and won second place for her poster, oral presentation, and hand-out.
