Admission

We encourage you to apply early for admission to SIUC and theSchool of Social Work. To request an admission application and to receive an undergraduate catalog, please contact New Student Admissions Office(618-536-4405). You can also apply online at http://admissions.siu.edu/admpp.htm. Once you have been admitted to SIUC, you will be informed about oppprtunities for new student orientation, academic advisement, and registration.

Beginning freshmen who qualify for admission to the University are granted admission to the Social Work program as their intended field of study.

Transfer students must have an overall grade point average of 2.25 (on a 4.0 scale), calculated according to SIUC's grading policies and procedures from all post-secondary institutions.
