teacher and a mental health consultant to schools and other educational

Harold Collier,

Stephanie Dillard
has taught for the SIU School of Social Work for 10 years, primarily
in the school social work area. Her education includes a MSW,
Masters in Educational Administration and 30 hours in special

a school social work program that grew from 3 to 22 social workers
and an extensive training program for school social work interns
at Tri-County Special Education Joint Agreement. Beginning July
1, 2006, Stephanie has been hired as Director of Williamson County
Special Education District |

Galen
R. Thomas
M.S.W., L.C.S.W.
Mr. Thomas was
a part-time instructor in the School of Social Work for 19 years.
He was the prime developer of the school social work component
of the MSW social work program, while working as a |

school social worker for Williamson County Special Education District,
Marion, Illinois. He is a contributing author to the edited text
School Social Work by Constable, Massat, McDonald & Flynn.
Besides being employed as a school social worker since 1980, he
is a member of the Board of the Illinois Association of School
Social Workers and Past President of IASSW. He has been recognized
by IASSW as their School Social Worker of the Year and has received
its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005.
