Dr. Soliman has extensive experience in teaching generalist practice, research, Human Behaviors and the Social Environment. He has worked as a school social worker in Egypt for 13 years and volunteered at a number of social

 
service agencies in Illinois and Pennsylvania. Dr. Soliman teaches the advanced school social work course emphasizing micro and macro practice in school systems. He has published numerous articles on AIDS, Disasters and traumatic stress, international practice in social work and assessment of mental health practice.

Harold Collier, MSW, LSW,

Harold Collier has worked for four years with the Tennessee Department of Human Services and as a school social worker for the last twenty-five years at Williamson County Special Education District. He has been supervising interns in the MSW

Besides being employed as a school social worker since 1980, he is a member of the Board of the Illinois Association of School Social Workers and Past President of IASSW. He has been recognized by IASSW as their School Social Worker of the Year and has received its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005.
