| Time Trials |
Every Tuesday, meet at Bed, Bath, and Beyond Parking lot at
University Mall at 5:30 PM and ride out to the Spill Way Road.
There is a 10 mile and a 15 mile out-and-back route. The starts are staggered based on
projected finish times. These are great training sessions to get you in shape for a
season of racing! Starting again March 20! |
| Road Rides |
On Wednesdays, we leave at 5:30 from the
front of Carbondale Cycles for approx 30 miles. This is a great ride
for cyclists who want to improve their speed and technique. Road
bike is HIGHLY recommended, this ride is fast. |
| Mountain Biking |
Meet at the Bike Surgeon at 5:00pm. This is a comfortable pace ride to get new people interested in mountain biking.
Wednesday rides may split into a Men's ride and a Women's ride.
Experience has shown that women new to mountain biking feel more comfortable in a group of only females. Check the forum
at smbatrails.com if you are wondering where the ride is going to be. |
| Little Grassy Open Water Swim |
The spring time swims will be wetsuit swims.
Make sure to have a Wildlife Refuge sticker.
They are $15 and can be purchased at the Refuge office on Hwy 148 South.
Tickets for no sticker are around $200. Little Grassy is a swim across open water
to the Boy Scout Camp Beach. We rest and then swim back. The first few swims in the spring may be shorter
in order to acclimate ourselves to the chilly water.
This is great prep for the Doc Spackman, that is if the water warms up
enough and we can get in the water before the triathlon. |
| CHECK THE FORUM |
