Course Description:
Fire as a phenomenon in wildland management.  Topics covered are fire prevention, detection, suppression, behavior, effects, use, and economics.  Major emphasis is on fire control and fire ecology.

Prerequisites:  FOR 331 or consent of instructor.

Other Requirements:  Requires field trip transportation fees and supplemental expenditures not to exceed $50 per course registration.
