The GIS Information Sharing Project is a collaborative effort between Kevin Davie at Morris Library, the ForGE Lab, and USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service to create campus-wide accessible GIS datasets.  The Forge Lab provided the equipment and personnel to create a portable data collection stored on over forty compact disks.  This work is currently in progress.  A sample of the datasets transferred to CD media include:

Digital Raster Graphics (DRG's)
ArcView Ready Digital Orthophoto Quarter Quadrangles (DOQQ's)
SDTS Format DOQQ's
Digital Elevation Models (DEM's)
10 meter level data for all previous listed quadrangles
Individual DEM's
Stitched DEM
Stitched Shaded Relief
St Clair County Digital Soil Survey
Cypress Quadrangle Historic Data Set
