Free books -Tom Hartman, a junior in computer science at SIUC, beams impishly while he chooses some of the textbooks for spring semester at University Bookstore. Hartman received a semester's worth of free books as the grand prize winner of the University's first U-Card drawing. Students receive stickers for their cards when they attend University events. Once filled, the cards go into a drawing; the winner receives his choice of a semester's free tuition or a semester's worth of textbooks. Staff photo
