Colleges and Division Profiles at SIUC
In February, 1999, the CAC Task Force Representatives began constructing profiles of existing programs, requirements, and needs with regard to communication-intensive courses in their respective Colleges or units. The profiles are only preliminary sketches of structural components already in place and will be used only for the purpose of establishing a baseline for later comparison. Finally, because the CAC Program at SIUC is designed to begin at the grassroots level--at the point of contact between the faculty and students--these profiles do not establish precedent for change or preservation. As the CAC initiative proceeds, it will have to become what the faculty, the Colleges, and the major areas believe it should be to best serve the interests of students and faculty.

CAC is currently reestablishing the implementations of CAC throughout the university system. Please check back for current information.
