On March 17, 1998, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale's Faculty Senate passed a resolution to recommend the adoption of a University-Approved Writing Handbook. This website is intended to assist faculty and students with the adoption and use of the text that was selected, The Little, Brown Compact Handbook , 3rd Edition (updated June, 1998) by Jane Aaron, as well as the free supplements, Researching Onlin e (3rd ed., David Munger), and The Columbia Guide to Online Style , by Janice Walker and Todd Taylor. |
