The Agbassadors® represent the College as speakers for groups, classes, career days, and college fairs. They provide information about new opportunities in agriculture related occupations to those interested in technology, science, business, education, and many other fields. Prospective members are interviewed and selected each spring by a committee comprised of College of Agricultural Sciences administrators and students.

They can open your students' eyes and help them open the doors to rewarding careers in all areas of agriculture. Whether it's speaking to an individual class, school or group or participating in a career fair, our enthusiastic Agbassadors® are proud of agriculture and SIUC.

The Agbassadors® are 10 outstanding students in SIUC's Agricultural Sciences. They are selected from a pool of qualified applicants based upon their achievements, academics, communication skills, and knowledge of agriculture and SIUC.

They will tell you of the exciting agriculture industry and give students first-hand insight into college life.
