Housing and Transportation.  Students are responsible for both housing and transportation during supervised practice (rotations).  Housing costs range from $300 to $500 per month depending upon location and if accommodations are shared.  During supervised practice rotations, students should anticipate relocating at least once.  All expenses and arrangements for housing are responsibility of the student.  Expenses for travel and relocating will vary by student.

Tuition and Fees During Rotations.  Students pay all expenses, including tuition and fees during supervised practice rotations.  No graduate assistantships are awarded during rotations.  Students are on-site 40 hours per week and are expected not to be employed during these 7-1/2 months.

Attire.  During supervised practice rotations, professional dress is required.  In some instances, a student may need to purchase a lab coat.

Laptop Computer.  All students are expected to own their own computers before starting supervised practice experiences.  A laptop computer should be used during supervised experiences at the Illinois Department of Human Services or St. Louis Area Agency on Aging.
