Thirty-eight
to 41 credit hours are required to complete graduate course work and
internships. Nine credit hours are assigned for the 1200 hours of supervised
practice experiences. Additional course work may be assigned to students
without undergraduate course work in community nutrition or nutritional
biochemistry. A grade of B or better must be attained in core courses.
During the supervised practice rotations, students are on-site 40 hours
per week.

The sequence
of supervised practice rotations varies. For example, one student may
complete foodservice management and clinical rotations first and then
the community rotation. Another student may complete the community
rotation first, and then management and clinical rotations.
