The Week of Sept. 7th

This Tuesday we will finish discussing the role played by social class in shaping consumer behavior. Since that will not require the whole period we will also begin talking about the next topic: reference group influences on consumer behavior. We will continue with that on Thursday.

In terms of the Lecture Guide review questions, by now you should be able to answer the first 40-50 questions. Speaking of questions, here is a clue about a question you will see on the first test: what are the traditional core values of the U.S. culture (not the changing ones) that were mentioned in class?

Finally, have you successfully accessed this course within Blackboard? That is where you will take practice tests, get your test scores, and be able to print out your error analyses. If you are having problems getting in, let me know but it is most likely that the answer to your question is provided by clicking on a relevant link from this page. Since Blackboard is the only place your scores are kept, if you can't get in then the scores probably can't be saved there either, and if the system doesn't record your scores then you will be dropped from the course.
