Professor Snavely (Ph.D., University of California, Davis, 1984) Professsor, teaches and conducts research in the areas of domestic and international nonprofit organization administration. His current activities include research on state/NGO relations in Russia and rural philanthropy. In 2004 he concluded a five-year project with the Russian Academy of Government Service aiding their faculty in developing new courses in NGO administration and relations with government. Journals he has published in recently include Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Nonprofit Management and Leadership, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, and The American Review of Public Administration.
