Writing
Baseball: The Southern University Press Series
will publish baseball books of high literary quality. The series,
while advocating a high literary standard for baseball writing,
is open to all narrative forms, including fiction, history,
biography, and creative nonfiction. It will set its own standard
for literary quality by publishing new baseball writing of imagination
and insight, while also republishing out-of-print books of literary
merit. The series also encourages and seeks out baseball writing
from diverse points of view on the broadest range of baseball
topics.
