Offered to students traditionally underrepresented in higher

with three or more years of residency or have received a high school diploma or undergraduate
degree from an Illinois institution, and can demonstrate financial need. |

PROMPT - Proactive Recruitment for Multicultrual Professionals for Tomorrow |
A two-year assistantship package is offered to master's and
doctoral students from families which have traditionally not had access to the opportunities
of higher education and who, through his or her life, cultural and/or ethnic experiences,
have unique and potentially positive contributions to make to the program, the discipline,
and in the larger academic community. The Graduate School in alliance with participating
academic departments supports the PROMPT Fellowship. Service is required.
