The World Wide Web now provides consumers with access to a wide range of information in manner that is both quicker and easier than anything imaginable just a decade ago. The down side of this accessibility is that few web sites are subject to the type of accountability afforded to the print media, such as careful review by journal or book editors/publishers. Consequently, consumers need to be cautious about the information presented on web sites that are not managed by professional organizations. The Southern Illinois University Clinical Center staff has complied a list of web sites that provide the consumer with further information about issues related to the services provide at the Clinical Center. We can not, however, assume responsibility for the content of these sites.
