Acting Training Director Named

Our previous Training Director, Dr. Rosemary Simmons, has been named as the new Counseliung Center director. Dr. Don Mullison of our staff has agreed to take on the role of Training Director for the coming year. We hope to launch a national search for a permanent training director in the coming year.

New Interns Join Staff

On August 1, 2008, a new group of five interns joins our staff for one year. These interns were matched with us in February of this year: both the Counseling Center and the prospective interns rank ordered their choices, and a computer made the matches. They will participate in our American Psychological Association-approved internship in professional psychology, and will provide services to SIU students while under the supervision of our senior staff. These new interns are:
