The Groundwater Foundation
A site promoting public awareness and understanding of groundwater
resource issues, including educational material for kids and community-based

A wide-ranging site primarily for scientists and water resources planners, with links to various databases and publications.
American Water Resources Association
The AWRA promotes understanding of water resources and related issues
by providing a multidisciplinary forum for education, professional development,
and information exchange.
International Water Resources Association
The IWRA promotes research and education for the sustainable management
of water resources worldwide. Its web site includes expertise directories
and information about conferences and IWRA publications.
Water Research Network
This is a multidisciplinary database of research, researchers and institutions dealing with fresh water issues all over the world. The network includes natural and social sciences as
well as the humanities.
Midwest GeoSciences Group
The Midwest GeoSciences Group conducts workshops, short courses, and
field trips focusing on the geologic environment in the Midwestern United
States, including hydrogeology and groundwater.
This site is hosted by Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
