Goals of the President
  1. Improve enrollment and retention at both SIUC and SIUE
  2. Increase the lobbying efforts for the SIU system at both the state and federal levels.
  3. Oversee implementation of Campus Land Use Plans
  4. Strengthen the working relationship between the offices of the President and Chancellors
  5. Assume a leadership role in the advocacy for higher education in the state of Illinois
  6. Continue to improve diversity system-wide
  7. Build a strong economic and educational outreach which will effectively serve the needs of the southern and central Illinois area
