Internal and External Affairs

The Executive Assistant for External Affairs provides
senior level assistance to the President in the area of
external affairs related to the Office of the President.
Specific areas of responsibility include: overseeing the
Off-Campus Service/Enrollment Centers held in the
community colleges; continuing the development of the
Lake County Campus; working with the Laborers Union in
the development of their baccalaureate completion
program; development of off-campus and on-line courses;
overseeing Higher Education Cooperation Act (HECA)
grant; overseeing minorty training grant (IDOT); acting
as liaison to Connect SI.
The Executive Assistant for Internal Affairs provides
senior level assistance to the President in the area of
internal affairs related to the Office of the President.
Specific areas of responsibility include: work with
campus staff to increase enrollment/retention; develop
and maintain relationships with the business community;
collaborate with internal departments to support
community relations efforts; coordinate with
Institutional Research to obtain data that will assist
in decision-making; assist the Chancellors with research
related to addressing campus and community needs.
