Tournaments:
F.E.A.R. - We'll be using FEAR COMBAT, available here for free if you don't already own FEAR. Be sure to come by 5:00pm to sign up for this tournament.
Unreal Tournament - We'll be using the original UT, come join us for a massive Deathmatch Frag-fest!
Halo 2 - Xbox's will be provided, but feel free to bring your's. Be sure to come by 2:00pm to get signed up for this tournament.
Super Smash Bros. - Both the Gamecube and N64 versions will be available, it's up to you to decide which game is in the tournament.

Yes, F.E.A.R Combat is compatible with the full game, so if you already have F.E.A.R. you don't need to download the multiplayer. We will also have hard copies of the FEAR Combat install file available if you need it, so just go to
www.joinFEAR.com to get a Registration Key
What about Spectators?
We would love for people to come in to watch, but if they would like to play, they will need to pay the entry fee.
Will there be internet access?
Yes, every computer on our network will have a LAN connection.
What to bring:
- Computer with ethernet card installed See the network page for more info.
- Power Strip (You will only have one outlet available)
- Headphones (Speakers will not be allowed)
- Extra games - Anyone can start their own server, so the more the maerrier
- Money for lunch and dinner - There's a McDonald's, a Subway, a Taco Bell, and a few other places in the Student Center
What NOT to Bring:
- Powered Speakers, UPS, etc...
- Extra Computers (Only one computer per person)
- Alcohol, drugs - This is a Family and Student oriented event after all
Rules & Ettiquette
- No smoking in the building.
- This is a "family-oriented" event. Alcohol, drugs, foul language, etc are not welcome.
- We are allowing 2 amps of power per person. This should be plenty for your computer and monitor. But not for any extra equipment. For example: No powered speakers or UPS systems.
- You will be able to eat and drink at your computer. Just remember that YOU are liable for any damaged equipment (your's or someone else's)
- No HACKING. If the staff finds anyone attempting to hack into any computers, switches or other equipment on our network, you will be banned forever. This includes running port-scanning software. This is a ZERO tolerance policy.
- The people associated with ACM are in no way liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen property.
- NO CHEATING! This should really go without saying, but anyone caught cheating during a tournament will be subjected to copious amounts of ridicule.
- Please clean up after yourself.
- ACM and SIUC do not permit nor condone any type of illegal activity. This activity includes, but is not limited to: the copying of illegal software and the distribution of pornographic material to minors. Each machine is each person's own personal responsibility/liability
