Please, let me once more express my gratitude for your handling of the publication of A Social History of the Nigerian Civil War: Perspectives from Below, written by myself, Jones A. Ahazuem and Sydney Emezue. When I came to Nigeria with the Camera-ready-copy of the main text body of the book, I did not expect the book to be ready by the time I left, two weeks later. However, you said it would be possible - and it was, indeed. The way you handled the editorial and technical preparations impressed me a lot. It still seems somewhat of a miracle to me that the final printing and binding of the first copies of the book could take place despite the massive electrical power problems we faced in Enugu during those days. Thanks very much for making it happen!
I have read your two local history books, on Obe and on Nkanu, with a lot of interest and find them well researched. As an academic historian interested in the history and historiography of Igbo-speaking communities, I found your books among the best of their genre. I am looking forward to get a copy of your book on the history of Enugu State.
With kind regards,
