"Katherine Dunham in Haiti"

The Special Collections Research Center will show Kathernine Dunham's film of native dance in Haiti. The film was recorded in 1935 and 1936 while Dunham did her anthropology thesis work on Haitian dance. Dunham was also a member of SIU faculty as an artist-in-residence in the 1960's.
