Important Facts about the SIUC Program
|
SIUC Advantages:
The architecture program offers a well-rounded, realistic approach to
education, which is heavily influenced by the profession. In order to
assure the education maintains close contact with the profession, the
program has a long-established advisory committee, which is comprised of
practicing architects representing various size firms from the state and
Midwest region. Graduates of the program are prepared to immediately
become productive employees or to pursue graduate degrees.
Class Sizes:
Class sizes in the major will vary depending on the format of
the course. Lecture courses will range from 25 to 125 students. Studio
courses will range from a high of 25 to 30 students in the lower-level
courses down to 10 to 18 students in the upper-level courses.
