ASA Academic Tuition Waiver

The College of Applied Sciences and Arts (ASA) offers a partial tuition waiver to students in any of its programs.  The amount of the tuition waiver varies from year to year.  In 2007-2008, the waivers were $600.00 each.  Applications for the awards are made available every year on the first Friday of the spring semester.  The application is available at the Dean's office in the ASA Building, at the college's seven department offices (located throughout campus), and from the ASA Scholarship Chair's office at 410 Quigley Hall.  Applications are always due in the Dean's office no later than 4:00 pm on the Friday before spring break.  Full details of the terms of the awards are provided on the application.  A final note, this award is available only to those who are continuing students in ASA programs; it is not available to new students in those programs.  Additional information is provided on the ASA web site

ASA Alumni Scholarship

The ASA Alumni Scholarship is available to those students who are a relative of an SIUC graduate, with preference being given to those who are relatives of ASA or College of Technical Careers (CTC) alumni.  Applications are due by May 1 for the fall semester and by October 1 for the spring semester.  No awards are made for the summer semester.  Applications are available from the ASA Dean's office.  Full details of the terms of the awards are provided on the application. Additional information is provided on the ASA web site
