Next to you

Every night, I dream of being next to you,
To assure you that my love for you is true.
It's heart-breaking to realize that I can't be next to you,
I cry and cry, living my days feeling blue.

I think back to the times which we spent together,
When you promised that you will love me forever.
I still remember the day,
It was the day you went away.

I wish upon a star over the night skies,
That someday you will see where my heart lies.
Maybe you are wishing the same thing,
Or maybe you just want me to forget everything.

I wonder how my life would be,
If you are right here, standing next to me.
Every night, I wonder when I could see you,
Until we meet again, I dream, dream of being next to you

Kevin is my American name.
Everything that is interesting, I want tries it.
Vegetables are my favorite food.
I like to eat meat, too.
Nobody cooks food better than my mother.
Chinese food is my country's food.
Hamburgers are popular but I don't like them.
Anytime I love to eat food.
Natural food is good for me.
"Great" is a word I often say.

Where have fresh air, a state park, and academic climate
People who live life, study, and work here.
Students want to learn, play and enjoy here.
Residents live here for work and business.
Carbondale is located in the heart of Southern Illinois.

Poem about SIU at Carbondale

When I came to here for the first time,
I felt very Carbondale.
What kind of place is Carbondale for me?

Even though, it is so countryside,
it takes about 2 hours to go to downtown, St. Louis
it is not convenient to go to wal-mart on foot,
I cannot live without bicycle,
not much place to have fun,
food at the cafeteria is terrible,
I feel scary when I walk in front of the Morris library at mid-night,

But, I like SIU at Carbondale
That is because...

I can see many stars,
There is beautiful and wonderful campus lake,
It is full of nature,
Great environments to study,
people are so nice and friendly,
teachers give me a plenty of homework,
there are many fans of Cardinals,
mascot of SIU is lovely SALUKI,
there is not such an excited things except SALUKI football.
I decided to do my best to realize my dream in Carbondale.

Ms Jessica is my teacher
Mohsan is my friend
Rome is the next place that I want to visit
October is my brother's birthday
A lot of people have been friendly with me
Laundry is big day
KSA is my country
Usually eat my lunch around 12;00
Relaxing is good for me
Always I donšt eat breakfast
Sometimes the life is bad for me
Home is a wonderful place to be in
I'm studying English
