Learning English in Carbondale
Learning English in Carbondale
Carbondale is a good place for learning English. First, Carbondale is not a big city, so people who live in Carbondale are kind and polite. Therefore, it is easy to talk to them. For example, when I was walking down the street, many people said "hi,"so if I want to talk to them, I'd be able to do it. Second, there is little entertainment here, so students have nothing to do except for studying. The third reason Carbondale is a good place is because it has CESL. CESL is good for learning English because it has good teachers and a good environment. In conclusion, Carbondale is a good place to learn English.

Study English in Carbondale
We think Carbondale is a good place to study English. The first reason is it is quiet here. For example, there are not a lot of people in Carbondale. The second reason is there are not many places to play. For example, we don't have many bars or casinos. Also, there are a lot of opportunities for international students. For example, we have a conversation table. In conclusion, Carbondale is a nice place to improve our English.

Our Opinion About Carbondale
Carbondale is not a good place to study English. The first reason is it is boring and we can't get a lot of practice speaking English here. For example, there are no funny places to go and we can't improve our English. The second reason is it is quiet and small. For example, there are no night clubs and only a few shops. In conclusion, we would rather not study English in Carbondale.

A Cool Place to Study English
There are many reasons to study in Carbonale. First, there are a lot of American students in Carbondale. For example, they help us to practice English and we have met many friends. Second, Carbondale is a quiet place for studying English. There are only a few bars because this is a small city. Third, CESL is a very good, special program to study English. For example, there are good teachers in CESL like Jessica. And we can practice a lot. In conclusion, Carbondale is a very cool place to study English. We're going to study here for a long time.

Grammar Quizzes
I think the BBC quiz is better than the 1-language quiz because the BBC quiz contains lot of details, and has a lot of choice of your hobbies like music, sport, and art. BBC quiz also has a choice of ways for you to measure your skill like pronouns and verbs. On the other hand, i think the 1-language quiz didn't contain a lot of detail because this quiz doesn't separate the pronoun and verb. They mix it. I highly recommend that you choose the BBC quiz.

I took two grammar quizzes that can really help me in my writing. The first one was Online ESL Quizzes; in this quiz I learned how you could give the right question when you ask someone. Moreover, this quiz is helpful in the presentation class when you ask questions. The other one is modal quiz 1; also this one was very helpful for me, because these kinds of questions are more common in any conversation. In fact, I found that the two quizzes are good to learn and more common in life.

I took two quizzes from different places, but honestly, I thought that they were pretty easy. The first one is simple past and past progressive from ESL quiz center; the second one is requests from Online ESL quizzes. But, I fairly recommend taking simple past and past progressive from ESL quiz center, because it was more advanced than the other one. I found them simple, but at the same time refreshing.
-Abdulaziz
I took two Quizzes in grammar, which I always have problems with. The first quiz was"a Modal quiz" . My score was 75%, which, I think, is not bad for me, and I think I should work to be better. The second quiz was about "Simple past and past progressive", which I think I did a bad job on, then I accepted it. Most of the time in my writing I found that I have too many problems. My score was 62.5%, but I thought I might get a higher score. And, about which one is better, I think the first quiz was better because of the score. Therefore, I think if anyone has problems with the grammar he or she should take some quiz on the ESL or other programs, which I think might be helpful.
