INTERNSHIPS IN ART AND DESIGN

Undergraduate students in Visual Communication through "Mind's Eye" graphics can gain hands-on design experience. Currently, these students design graphics for the University community. They can get major credit by signing up for an Independent Study.

There is an informal internship program in Industrial Design that encourages students to seek summer employment. The metals students also participate in internships on the local level with John Medwedeff Forge and Design in Murphysboro and the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis.
