Crab Orchard Review is a biannual journal of creative works published by the Department of English of Southern Illinois University Carbondale featuring new fiction, poetry, literary nonfiction, and book reviews of small press and university press titles.

We will launch an updated and redesigned Website for CRAB ORCHARD REVIEW on September 1, 2008. The information on this Website will continue to be updated until the time it is replaced by this new site. CRAB ORCHARD REVIEW's url will remain http://www.siuc.edu/~crborchd/.

The SIUC website for CRAB ORCHARD REVIEW provides links to information on calls for submissions, CRAB ORCHARD REVIEW's annual literary contests, and the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry (which is co-published with Southern Illinois University Press).

WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR EITHER OF THE CRAB ORCHARD SERIES IN POETRY COMPETITIONS. THE NEXT COMPETITION WILL BE THE CRAB ORCHARD SERIES IN POETRY OPEN COMPETITION AND ENTRIES SHOULD NOT BE MAILED UNTIL OCTOBER 1, 2008.
