Welcome to the SIUC Cycling Club website!
Come out and watch or participate in our very own Cyclo-Cross race this weekend (Sunday, September 28th) at Evergreen Park (900 West Pleasant Hill Rd; behind Evergreen Terrace housing and by the bmx park). Womens and C (beginner) racers will start at 12pm; B racers begin at 1pm and A racers (the "pros") begin at 2:30pm. Contact one of the club officers for more information, or view a race flier.
We are also in the process of placing an order for SIUC jerseys, bibs, and socks. Check out the design and details on the "Jersey" page.
Meetings
Who: Current and prospective members are welcome!
When: Bi-monthly at 8pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month
Where: DiMaggio's Pizza (located at 604 E. Park Street across from University Hall)
Membership
Members are expected to be actively involved in the club, and to pay dues ($10 for new members, $20 for returning members).
In return, dues-paying members have an opportunity to earn points through the club. Points can then be used for cycling-related expenditures that are approved by the university (e.g., event travel reimbursement).
