Staff Profiles
Employment Services: Jim has two Master degrees; one in Rehabilitation Administration and the other in Job Services. He has developed and coordinated services for persons with head injuries, people with substance abuse problems and individuals with MR/DD. Jim has consulted with numerous businesses and educational institutions regarding employer, employer and program development as well as job placement. He served as a senior consultant and program coordinator for the Impact Group in St. Louis where he initiated, developed and coordinated the firm’s first on-line employer development and placement program. He was a member of the team that developed the placement program currently used by the U.S. Department of State. Jim has written “Job Search 101”, a highly effective job search skills book.

originally started as the Transition to Employment Office which was funded by
Illinois Board of Higher Education through the Paul Simon Public Policy
Institute and the Office of Disability Support Services at Southern Illinois
University Carbondale.
