Laboratory Assistant
DIGITAL MEDIA LAB TECHNICIANS--Provide practical assistance and technical support in a Mac OS X computer lab environment. Digital media production majors are preferred, but consideration will also be given to non-majors experienced with digital media production such as digital imaging, web design, audio/MIDI, video, 2D/3D animation, visual effects, motion graphics, and digital compositing. Ideal applicants are undergraduate freshmen and sophomores with excellent people/customer service skills, good written/verbal communication skills, and flexible morning, late-night/weekend availability. Applications are available at Computer Learning Center 4/New Media Center in the Communications Building, room 9C (basement). FEDERAL WORK-STUDY AWARDS ARE REQUIRED.

WSIU would like to employ student worker(s) long term/multiple semesters. Employee will be responsible for answering phone, sorting mail, making copies, filing, and serving as office receptionist. Applicant should have office experience, excellent customer service, typing skills, proofing and editing skills and must be punctual and dependable. Experienced with graphics a plus. Must be able to work most breaks and have a valid driver's license. We prefer a four hour work block anytime between 8:00am-4:30pm M-F, 15-20 hours per week.
