Calendars and Deadlines

Semesters for SIUC off-campus programs do not follow the same beginning and ending dates as regular on-campus classes. The majority of courses are weekend courses being run on a consecutive basis. Other courses (resident training, independent study and internships) last throughout the semester.

Certain Financial Aid deadlines are the same for all students. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be processed by the U.S. Department of Education through June 30, 2007 for the 2006-07 school year. However, in order for a student to actually receive aid, SIUC must have a valid Student Aid Report on file before the student's last day of enrollment during the 2006-07 school year. Recipients of state awards must meet the indicated application deadlines set by that state. In order for student loans to be processed, financial aid application results and all required documentation must be received at the SIUC Financial Aid Office by the following dates:

	Summer Only Loan		July 1
	Fall Only Loan		November 1
	Fall/Spring Loan		April 1
	Spring Only Loan		April 1
