In
December of 1951 William S. Minor was charged by Edwin Arthur Burtt
to do something about filling the need for creative ethics.
It
was Minor's willingness to take the lead in this project that culminated
in the formation of the Creative Ethics Group under the sponsorship
of the American Philosophical Association on the 29th of that month.
Minor
was asked to serve as the Director of this group which grew into
the Foundation for Philosophy of Creativity.
