Welcome to SIU's first GLBT Resource Center, established Spring 2007.

Meet the Resource Center's New Coordinator Virginia Dicken earned her master's in public health from SIUC in 2005 and continues to work toward her PhD in applied psychology. Her interests include health education, diversity, and justice-oriented methodologies. Virginia has been active in the Carbondale area, volunteering with community groups including The Women's Center, University Christian Ministries, and the Southern Illinois Coalition for Reproductive Justice. She is excited to be working as the GLBT Resource Center coordinator and invites you to drop by and say hello.
