DEGREE COMPLETION - A.A. or A.S

Students who have earned an Associate of applied Science (A.A.S.) degree from an ABFSE accredited Mortuary Institution may be eligible to complete the Capstone Option for the Bachelor of Science degree program. Those who meet the Capstone requirements must complete a minimum of 60 hours at Southern Illinois University.

Interested individuals must be accepted to the University in good standing and must submit a completed Mortuary Science and Funeral Service application. Once accepted to the program the student must completer a contract with a Mortuary Science and Funeral Service Advisor before starting the courses in the major.
