Mortuary Science and Funeral Service Program
The baccalaureate degree program in Mortuary Science and Funeral
Service is the only one offered in a public university in the state of Illinois.
Course work includes advanced content to prepare the student for the National
Board Examination and requirements for licensure within the profession.
It is accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education and
meets licensing requirements of the Illinois Department of Professional
