Restorative Art

  Students will build upon knowledge of the anatomical structures of the cranial and facial areas of the human skull gained through anatomy. Utilizing terms and understanding of cranial and facial structures, the student will describe the facial proportions and markings. Students will develop knowledge of anatomical modeling, facial expressions, familiarization with instruments, materials and techniques necessary to rebuild the human face that has been destroyed by traumatic and/or pathological conditions. Laboratory assignments will include modeling, hair restorations, and others.
