Facilities
Laboratory facilities totaling over 8000 square feet of space provide the equipment, and resources necessary to develop hands-on technical skills.

The EST laboratory facilities, totally handicapped accessible, are centrally located adjacent to the electronics faculty offices in the ASA building. Computers and bench test equipment throughout the program provide the students with excellent resources leading to positive laboratory experiences.

The facilities include space dedicated to computer servicing, troubleshooting, and networking to give the students hands on training in these areas. A dedicated computer laboratory is available for training in computer-aided drafting, circuit design and emulation, and computer aided instruction. Other laboratory facilities include equipment and systems to gain telecommunications experience in satellite communication and global positioning, Key System and PBX operation and programming, spread spectrum wireless communication, computer telephony, Internet integration, and computer network integration and management. The program also has facilities where the students may work and study independently.
