SIU president James Walker held an open forum at the Student Center Auditorium January 23, 2001. Walker led a discussion with students, faculty and staff for over an hour and a half concerning issues among the University community. Dellar Harris, professor and director for the school of art and design, was one of many who participated in hopes to strengthen Southern's future.
