I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Information Systems and Applied Technologies and have been with the university since 2000.
Prior to that I worked for PMCL now called CDM as an associate research analyst and project manager.
For several years, I was involved with the project Adapted Computer Technology and Accessible Website Design a long-term grant funded through an Illinois Board of Higher Education Higher Education Cooperative Act grant in the Access and Diversity category. The project team is made up of members from SIU's Disability Support Services and Information Technology units.
I teach IST 232, Systems Analysis and Design Tools; IST 405, Web Programming and Scripting Technologies; IST 404, Information Technology Project Management; and IST 406 Assistive Technologies and Accessible Website Design. I also serve as the IST occupational internship coordinator.
I serve as an advisor to the Masters of Public Administration program and am a member of Second Baptist Church in Herrin, Illinois.
