AUDITION INFORMATION
DATES and TIMES
Saturday, March 29
10:00-10:30 registration/sign-up for individual time. If a special time is needed (work, previous engagements, etc.) please contact Nancy Stemper at 618-457-5100 or cca@neondsl.com
10:30-11:30 simple movement audition (everyone). Don't worry, they're FUN!
11:30-1:30 individual auditions (2 minutes allotted for each person)

WHERE
Carbondale Community High School
WHAT TO PREPARE
A short, 30-45 seconds, musical theater selection (from the show is alright but not necessary).
A short, 30-45 seconds, monologue (encouraged, but not absolutely necessary).
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear something you can move in for the movement audition. These clothes will also be fine for the individual audition as well.
ACCOMPANIMENT
A piano accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music with piano accompaniment (no choral music). Ideally, music should be mounted on a manilla folder (so it doesn't fall off the piano and pages don’t close on the pianist), with the beginning and ending clearly marked, and any cuts. CD accompaniment is accepted but not preferred.
AGE LIMIT
You must be between entering High School (8th grade just complete) and just have completed your Senior year (usually 14-18).
COST

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals are afternoons, from 1-5 PM in the Carbondale Community High School Auditorium beginning June 23. Please plan vacations and work schedules around this period. We cannot accommodate cast coming and going.
