All winners are honored to perform at the Competition Winners’ Concert and Awards Ceremony in OBF Recital Hall on March 8, 2008, 5 PM.
*Amount of scholarship is to be determined by the jury except for the grand prize winner and is awarded on the condition that the recipient is enrolled in studio piano instruction at Southern Illinois University Carbondale as a piano performance major; scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and are renewable; one or more prizes may not be awarded upon discretion of the jury; jury’s decision is final; competition is open to the public.
Eligibility:
High School Juniors and Seniors (Grades 11-12)
Three contrasting pieces in style and period from the standard classical piano literature (originally written for solo piano; published music only); total length 15-25 minutes

Performance Order: To be determined by random number drawing. Drawing time will be emailed to the contestants no later than February 21, 2008. All contestants must be present at the time of the drawing to compete.
